South Africa has announced its full 26-player squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup co-hosted by United States, Canada and Mexico. The Bafana Bafana are set to make their fourth appearance at the World Cup, and their first since 2010 when they hosted the tournament.

Head coach Hugo Broos announced the squad on Thursday, with Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronwen Williams set to captain the team. Burnley striker Lyle Foster also made the squad after netting 10 goals in 26 matches for South Africa. Sundowns midfielder Teboho Mokoena was also named after helping the club win the CAF Champions League alongside Williams.
South Africa will play the opening game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on June 11 against hosts Mexico in Mexico City. The Bafana Bafana will then face Czechia in Atlanta, Georgia on June 18, before traveling back to Mexico to play their final Group A game against South Korea on June 24.
