Semenyo arrived the Etihad Stadium from Bournemouth for a reported £64m and has scored seven goals in 17 games for City since then. He scored the winning goal for City to lift the FA Cup trophy and contributed to the club’s second-placed finish in the Premier League. His City teammate Rayan Cherki, is also in the list of nominees after arriving from Lyon in June for £30m and became a fan favorite due to his stylish, eccentric style of play.

Other players in the list include Adrien Truffert who joined Bournemouth from Rennes for  £14.4m, former Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka moving to Sunderland from Bayer Leverkusen for  £13m, Dominic Calvert-Lewin who joined Leeds United on a free transfer from Everton, and Viktor Gyokeres who joined Arsenal from Sporting Lisbon and helped the Gunners lift their first Premier League title in 22 years.

Chelsea’s Joao Pedro also made the list after moving to the Stamford Bridge from Brighton last year and scored 15 league goals and 20 in all competitions. Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens wrapped up the list after arriving from Royal Antwerp for just over £18m to establish himself as United’s first choice keeper.

Voting for the Premier League Transfer of the Season remains open until midday on Friday. You can cast your vote on the Premier League website.
