Galatasaray will not sell Osimhen for €100 million – Gala president warns

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has issued a major warning to clubs showing interest in Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window. Osimhen has attracted growing interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs following his impressive performances for the club, including another back-to-back Turkish league title.

Top clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich have reportedly shown interest in the Nigerian striker but Ozbek has made it clear that Galatasaray have no intention of letting him go easily.

Speaking during the club’s Süper Lig title celebrations at RAMS Park, Ozbek insisted that even a massive €100 million offer will not be enough to let the club’s star forward go.

“How much would Osimhen be worth if we put him up for sale now? I wouldn’t sell him for €100 million, why would I?” Özbek was quoted by Sabah Spor.

Osimhen’s arrival to the Instabul giants since 2025 has been nothing but spectacular. He led Galatasaray to their fourth consecutive domestic league title as well as their first round of 16 at the Champions League since 2013/14 season.

Osimhen himself has also spoken positively about life at Galatasaray, praising both the club and fans for their reception since his arrival. However, there are speculations that he might eventually seek another move to one of Europe’s traditional top-five leagues. He still has three years left on his contract, giving Galatasaray strong leverage in negotiations.

Chelsea, Juventus and Liverpool are also monitoring the 2023 CAF Player of the Year’s situation for a possible move. Whether they can make an offer that can tempt the Turkish champions to let go of their star striker remains to be seen.
