The Nigerian football federation has announced a 23-player Super Falcons squad upcoming international friendly matches against Senegal. According to a statement issued on Sunday by NFF Director of Communications, Ademola Olajire, head coach Justine Madugu included captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and forward Asisat Oshoala.

Veterans Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene and Francisca Ordega have been recalled to the team as well as Gift Monday. Madugu also handed opportunities to Blessing Nkor, Kafayat Shittu, Sikiratu Isah, Rofiat Imuran and Oluwatosin Demehin.
Other notable names in the list include Halimatu Ayinde, Toni Payne, Jennifer Echegini, Christy Ucheibe, Shukurat Oladipo and Rinsola Babajide.
The Super Falcons will host Senegal’s Lionesses of Teranga in a two-match friendly on June 6 and June 8 at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State. These friendlies form part of preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place from July 25 to August 16.
Nigeria have been in Group C with Egypt, Zambia and debutants Malawi. The top four teams from the tournament will qualify for the 2027 women’s FIFA World Cup scheduled to hold in Brazil from June 24 to July 25, 2027.
