Mane scored an opener in a 34th-minute header off a João Félix corner kick.  Kingsley Coman doubled the lead with a curling shot from just outside the Damac penalty box. However, Damac cut the deficit to 2-1 knowing in the 58th to send tensions rising for Al-Nassr who could lose the title to Al Hilal if the game ended in a draw.

But 41-year-old Ronaldo came to the rescue for the home side with a slicing freekick to restore the two-goal lead. In the 82nd minute, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner made it 4-1 after pouncing on a loose ball in the penalty box and firing a shot into the Damac net.

It is Ronaldo’s first major trophy with the club since his sensational move in 2023. Since his move to the Saudi side, Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr have finished second in his first two seasons and third in 2024-25. The club also lost four cup finals — King’s Cup, AFC Champions League Two, Saudi Super Cup (twice).

Al-Nassr could have wrapped up the league last week, but a comic stoppage time own goal against Al Hilal, who eventually finished second, delayed celebrations. Cristiano Ronaldo, who will play in his sixth World Cup for Portugal, now has 102 goals in four seasons with Al-Nassr. He is 27 goals shy of reaching 1000 career goals.
