Black Princesses head coach Charles Sampson has called on Ghanaians to turn up in strong numbers as his side prepares for a decisive FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Uganda.

Ghana’s U-20 women’s team heads into the final round after edging past South Africa 3-2 on aggregate, keeping alive their push for an eighth straight appearance at the global tournament.
“We are expecting every Ghanaian to come and support us on the 3rd of May, when we meet Uganda at the Accra Sports Stadium,” Sampson told GFA Communications.

The first leg will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on May 3, 2026, before the team travels for the return fixture in Uganda.
Victory over Uganda will secure Ghana a place at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup scheduled to take place in Poland from September 5 to 27, 2026, as the Black Princesses aim to continue their impressive run on the world stage.
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be held in Poland.
