Global football fans went into a frenzy after a star-studded Lego World Cup ad was released ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Lego launched an ad starring superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.
In the ad, the four football icons were seen sitting around a table as they took turns to add a piece to the Lego FIFA World Cup Official Trophy set. Then each attempted to add his own own figure on top of the trophy but fails. The video ends with a fan adding his own figure on top of the trophy and walking away.
Lego’s ad went viral on social media platforms. In one of the posts which was shared on X, fans reacted massively, with many expressing their excitement at the prospect of watching the superstars at the World Cup.

The quartet will be at the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Mbappé and Messi have lifted the trophy with France (2018) and Argentina (2022) respectively. Ronaldo and Vinicius will be aiming to win for the first time.
Meanwhile, Lego will be releasing four different Lego Editions sets for each of the four stars.
