Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was born on February 12, 2001 at Tbilisi, Georgia. He is the son of former Georgian footballer Badri Kvaratskhelia, who played for FC Dinamo Tbilisi and the Azerbaijan national football team.

Early career
Kvaratskhelia began his football career at an early age. He joined his father’s former club Dinamo Tbilisi and went through the youth system to earn a senior career with the club at the age of 16. Kvaratskhelia went on to play briefly for Rustavi and Lokomotiv Moscow, where his talents soon gained attention across Europe.
Breakthrough at Rubin Kazan and Dinamo Batumi
On July 6, 2019, Kvaratskhelia signed a five-year contract with Russian club Rubin Kazan, where he won two consecutive Russian Premier League Best Young Player awards. In 2022, he returned to Georgia after his contract with Kazan was suspended due to the Russia-Ukraine war. He joined Dinamo Batumi, where he recorded another success.
