Medeama’s Fuzy Taylor undergoing trial at Göztepe

Medeama SC’s breakout sensation Fuzy Taylor has arrived in Turkey to begin a high-stakes two-week trial with Süper Lig side Goztepe S.K., marking a potential milestone in the teenager’s rapid ascent.

The 17-year-old defensive midfielder, who has become a foundational piece for the Mauve and Yellows this season, was spotted at Goztepe’s training facilities on Monday as he aims to secure a permanent move to European football.

Taylor’s invitation to the İzmir-based club follows a string of dominant performances in the Ghana Premier League.

Since joining Medeama from Accra Lions in July 2025 on a three-year contract, the youngster has earned a reputation as a tireless “engine room” operator, noted for his tactical discipline and ability to transition into a right-back role when required.

His domestic form recently earned him a call-up to the Ghana U-20 national team, the Black Satellites, further elevating his profile on the international scouting radar.
