Adomah, who featured for Ghana at major international tournaments, believes Semenyo’s current performances are a clear sign of his growing importance to the national team.

Ghana will be making their fifth appearance at the FIFA World Cup, having been drawn in Group L alongside football powerhouses England, Croatia, and Panama.

The Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama on June 17, before facing England on June 23, and wrapping up their group matches against Croatia on June 27.

“Antoine Semenyo has done extremely well to reach his current level, and by God’s grace, he will continue to progress. He has a very bright future with the Black Stars—and hopefully at the highest level of club football. I would urge him to keep doing what he’s been doing. He’s in great form, and hopefully he carries that into the World Cup with Ghana.” He told 3Sports.

Semenyo has become one of Ghana’s most exciting attacking outlets, combining pace, power, and directness to trouble defenders. His recent form has strengthened his case as a key figure in the team heading into the World Cup.
