Victor Osimhen‘s Galatasaray have been crowned Turkish Super League champions after a dramatic 4–2 victory over Antalyaspor on Saturday. Osimhen scored a brace to secure the club’s record 26th title in the league.
It was an epic encounter, with Antalyaspor striking first just before half-time through Soner Dikmen and putting early pressure on the hosts and league leaders. However, Galatasaray responded in the second half, with Mario Lemina levelling the game in the 56th minute.
Antalyaspor quickly regained the advantage with a stunning free-kick goal in the 62nd minute to set up a tense final half hour. Then Osimhen stepped up when it mattered most, firing an equaliser in the 66th minute. Shortly after, the Nigerian striker completed a brace to push Galatasaray to the lead for the first time in the game.
Kaan Ayhan added a fourth goal at stoppage time to seal the victory and confirm the home side as the champions. It is also Galatasaray’s fourth consecutive league title, confirming their dominance in Turkish football.
