Osasuna rising star Victor Muñoz will reportedly return to Real Madrid during the summer. Spanish radio network, Cadena SER reported that Los Blancos have decided to trigger his €8 million to buy him back from Vicente Moreno’s side.
Muñoz made his debut with the Spanish national team during the FIFA break and scored a goal for La Roja against Serbia. The news of his potential return to Madrid broke a day after the match.
“BREAKING: Real Madrid have decided to bring back Victor Muñoz THIS SUMMER. The club will use their €8M buy-back clause,” Madrid Zone reported on X (formerly Twitter).

Muñoz joined the Real Madrid youth team in 2021, where he played at the UEFA Youth League. After his debut with the farm team RSC Internacional FC in 2022, he was promoted to the club’s reserve team in Primera Federacion the next year.
In June 2025, Muñoz made his La Liga debut, substituting Vinicius Jr in the El Classico game against which ended in a 4–3 away defeat. He later signed a five-year contract with Osasusna where he scored five goals .
