Despite the cordial relations in recent meetings between the two clubs’ boards, PSG still has a plan to strike back at Florentino Pérez. Vinicius could be the Parisians’ weapon to exact revenge on Real Madrid, according to Miguel Serrano . The journalist claims that the French club wants the Brazilian on a free transfer in 2027.
” What PSG is considering isn’t making an offer for Vinicius this summer, but rather pulling an Mbappé on Real Madrid . That is, talking to Vini and telling him, ‘Don’t renew, you want 30 million net and we’ll work out how you get it, whether it’s through Qatar sponsorships or a signing bonus… But don’t renew, don’t accept any transfer, stay another year at Real Madrid and you’ll come here on a free transfer and we’ll make you one of the highest-paid players in the world,'” he explained.
Real Madrid are crossing their fingers that Vinicius won’t go to Barcelona.
In a video on his YouTube channel, Látigo Serrano stated that the only way a club could pay Vinicius what he’s asking for is through a high transfer fee prorated into his salary: ” PSG’s plan is to pay the player everything they wouldn’t pay Real Madrid in transfer fees. Obviously, Vinicius, who would be 27 in June 2027, would be a player who, with a free transfer, could meet those expectations of earning a net salary of around 30 million.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid would like to find a way to recoup some money for Vinicius should he leave, but Florentino Pérez is primarily hoping the Brazilian doesn’t decide to join Barcelona: ”

Vinicius was open to a transfer this summer if he didn’t reach a contract renewal agreement, at least that was the case before the World Cup. It remains to be seen what the Brazilian’s new stance will be after Brazil’s disappointing World Cup performance and his failure to meet expectations.
