There are still a few weeks to go before Real Madrid kicks off their season against Espanyol. However, the club doesn’t want to wait until the last minute to register their players. That’s why Cucurella and Konaté are the last two to appear on the list.
Dumfries was the first player Real Madrid signed this summer who was already registered. LaLiga confirmed on Monday that Cucurella and Konaté will also play for the club . This was never in doubt, as Real Madrid doesn’t need to resort to underhanded tactics or anything like that.
Cucurella and Konaté are the latest signings
Real Madrid has been confirming several signings throughout the World Cup. Four players have already signed, although not all were registered with La Liga. Dumfries was the first, but there were others whose transfers hadn’t been finalized until now.
This Monday, Cucurella and Konaté officially became Real Madrid players for LaLiga. They are already listed on the website, although their squad numbers have not yet been confirmed. In fact, Real Madrid has not yet revealed their shirt numbers either.
Bernardo Silva should be next.
After Cucurella and Konaté, only Bernardo Silva remains to be registered with LaLiga by Real Madrid. The gaps left by Carvajal, Alaba, Ceballos, and Fran García are being filled , so there shouldn’t be any major issues with the Portuguese player.
In fact, Endrick doesn’t appear on the list of Real Madrid players registered with LaLiga either . The Brazilian spent half of last season on loan at Olympique Lyonnais. And this formality hasn’t yet been completed, should he ultimately stay under Mourinho’s management.
Real Madrid fulfills Mourinho’s requests
Real Madrid have listened to Mourinho’s requests to strengthen the team. Dumfries, Cucurella, and Konaté address the needs the Portuguese manager considered priorities. Bernardo Silva is another name he mentioned.
Real Madrid’s next targets are Diomande , a deal that is reportedly already finalized. Mourinho would be delighted with the arrival of the right winger. Rodri and another center-back are the latest reinforcements the club is considering.
